About the Author
K.A. Young is a self-published British independent author and artist, based in the UK. She enjoys writing stories in a variety of different genres, but predominately horror and mysteries though she does write wholesome stories for all ages. One such story is Emmy in the Cafe, an indie, coming of age, Young Adult romance about a young woman who clashes with the manager of her uncle’s cafe and the lives of her and her friends.
She has recently published her latest novel in 2024, a supernatural indie horror mystery, A Strange Town to Call Home. A story about a young woman who moves to a new town and discovers a supernatural creature is preying on the residents. Before that she wrote a gothic horror novella about a young woman who travels to a lonely mansion to work as a maid in 2019 under the name Kimberley Young. A few of her stories have been republished and updated under her author name.
She is currently writing an adventure novel about a young scholar, who has been invited to accompany pirates on a dangerous expedition, and a thriller about a waitress unhappy with her life who ends up in the middle of a murder mystery.
